SUKITE has successfully completed the delivery and commissioning of 10,000 MPPT solar charge controllers for a landmark solar street lighting project in Nigeria. The project, funded by the African Development Bank, aims to provide reliable solar-powered lighting to rural communities across 15 states.
The SK-3232-M and SK-3262-M MPPT controllers were selected for their proven reliability, high efficiency, and ability to operate in extreme temperatures up to 60°C. Each controller is equipped with IoT connectivity for remote monitoring through the SUKITE Cloud platform.
After 12 months of operation, the system has achieved 99.2% uptime, significantly exceeding the project specification of 95%. The success of this project has led to additional orders for Phase 2, which will cover an additional 20,000 units.
